PONTOS Press Conference in Greece

DUTH team leader, Prof. Georgios Sylaios, together with the President of the Geotechnical Chamber (Eastern Macedonia branch), Mr Zafeiris Mystakidis and the support of the Municipality of Nestos, gave a press conference in Chrysoupoli (Greece). The press conference enabled the DUTH and CERTH teams to present to the wider public the activities and achievements of the PONTOS project at local scale while highlighting the added value and new perspectives offered by cross-border cooperation in the context of the Black Sea Basin Programme. The impact of the event was particularly high as over 30 (thirty) articles were published in almost all leading national media while local TV stations and journals hosted interviews with Prof. Georgios Sylaios.
