On November 10-12, 2021 PONTOS's two partners in Armenia, the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment and the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia held the First set of Training Session on Earth Observation and Environmental Monitoring for Young Scientists and Practitioners. Fifteen young scientists and practitioners successfully participated in the two-day classroom training sessions and a following field trip to the project Armenian pilot area, Lake Sevan Basin. Through targeting young audiences this activity aims at ensure the long-term sustainability of project results.
